John Giorno, aka Johnny Day, began his career with B&B Hospitality Group on 2000 where he started as a Bartender at Babbo in New York City. Originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, Johnny attended Penn State University where he worked his way through the ranks of the restaurant industry, ultimately determining he had a passion for the business and wanted to make a career out of it.
In the early 1990’s, Johnny moved to NYC where he was able to develop his passion for Italian cuisine. He started as a Bartender at Babbo and eventually works his way to the Maitre ‘d position. In 2011, he moved out to Connecticut to join the team at Tarry Lodge in Port Chester as a manager. A few years later in 2013, he was promoted to General Manager at Tarry Lodge Westport.
