George Verlezza began his restaurant career with Chili’s in East Haven, CT as a server and quickly learned that he had a passion for the restaurant industry. Moving from serving to the bar, and then quickly into management, George began to absorb information about organizational leadership, as well as follow his passion of craft mixology. In 2014 he made the move to Kona Grill in Stamford as their Assistant General Manager and then assistant kitchen manager, where he assisted the restaurant in earning Best of the Gold Coast honors. While wearing both hats, he was able to expand his knowledge of high end dining and culinary skills. Eventually, George assisted in opening small local restaurants throughout Fairfield County and consulting the opening of numerous bars. He is currently a resident of South Norwalk.
